Red Sebastian releases video clip of Eurovision song 'Strobe Lights'

Red Sebastian, who will represent Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest in May, released the video clip of his song Strobe Lights. The video clip can now be found on the official Eurovision Youtube channel. Just like the song Strobe Lights itself, the music video also pays tribute to the energy of rave culture.

Hello Norway scores in the Netherlands, third season is announced

Hello Norway and its breathtaking landscapes and inspiring stories captures the hearts of viewers both at home and abroad. Following in the footsteps of the Flemish format, a third season of the programme will also be broadcast in the Netherlands. Its first season on NPO 1 was watched by more than 1.5 million Dutch people weekly and also the second season was a streaming hit on NPO Start. After the success of the Flemish version, which was developed by journalist Annemie Struyf and director Kristel Waterloos at VRT, it is now enjoyed beyond country borders.

Monday, December 2, 2024 - Great news: this evening, VRT programs Thirty Somethings and Nothing To See (Dutch title: Niks te zien) won a Rose d'Or award. This comes just a week after the VRT 1 program The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes, produced by Roses are Blue (the same production house as Nothing to see), won an International Emmy Award.

The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes wins prestigious International Emmy Award: “A tribute to the courage of participants and caregivers”

Fantastic news from New York! The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes (Dutch title: Restaurant Misverstand) has won the prestigious International Emmy Award in the category Non-Scripted Entertainment. The heartwarming VRT 1 program triumphed over strong competitors: South Africa’s Die Brug, Mexico’s Me Caigo De Risa, and Australia’s The Summit. The International Emmy Awards honor the best television programs produced and broadcast outside the United States.
