Flemish identity

As a public broadcaster, VRT contributes to the support and reinforcement of the Flemish identity. This happens mainly by stimulating high-quality Flemish productions.

The Flemish footprint is important to the VRT and is defined by:

• the number of Flemish and Dutch musical productions on VRT’s radio stations

• the number of Flemish productions on VRT’s television stations.
