In the six-part series *The Vatican*, we head to Rome to assess, in an accessible way, the damage done to an institution that has had to face and handle an endless series of scandals, as well as emptying churches. Armed with six vitally important questions that are linked to the core problems with which the institution struggles and illustrating these themes with fabulous footage from the world’s finest image archives, we investigate the thesis that the end might be near for the Vatican, and the role which the pope could play in this potential scenario.

The women are penalized with penalty points that seriously lower their score. Can they go back to their old score or has the downward spiral started? 

How do you survive in a world where your Citizen Score determines whether you can live or not?

For one night, the host becomes a curator, sharing one of their all-time favorite pieces. This exclusive opportunity offers the chance to get intimately close to the artwork—both literally and figuratively. With ample time and a serene setting, they are free to immerse themselves in the painting’s vivid colors, expressive strokes, and intricate details. The host also delves into the artwork’s fascinating history, its context within the broader world of art, and insightful analyses from experts and restorers. The journey culminates in a series of stories projected onto the pristine white walls of the museum’s galleries.

The guest is someone with a passion for art and culture, though not a seasoned expert. They, like many museum visitors, seek beauty and inspiration, but often come with limited prior knowledge. In 2009, the Indian Ocean is the stage for a wave of daring hijackings. Somalian pirates in skiffs attack dozens of ships and take the crews hostage in exchange for large sums of money. This is also the fate of the Belgian ship the Pompei. Back in Brussels, a dedicated team does everything it can to free the 10-man crew. Meanwhile, the Belgian police identifies the culprits and decides to go after them. They zoom in on the leader of the biggest pirate cartel and put together a risky undercover operation to lure him out of his hideout and into a Belgian courtroom. In this three-part documentary series, the people involved on both sides look back on this remarkable story.
