The twelve - The botox murders

Recently, filming for the new series of The twelve has started. For this series, a production of Eyeworks Film & TV Drama, VRT is once again collaborating with the French-speaking public broadcaster RTBF, following the successful 1985. In The twelve - The botox murders, the well-known author Daniël Dhaenens (53) and his second wife Daphne (40) are poisoned at their estate in Liège during the spectacular gender reveal party for the twins Daphne was soon to give birth to. After an in-depth investigation, Klara (30), the Russian translator of Daniël's books, and Francis Dhaenens (27), the son from the author's first marriage, are referred to the assize court in Limburg. Twelve citizens must decide on the guilt and punishment for those involved in this highly publicized case, while each of the jurors also leads their own life.

The twelve - The botox murders is a production of Eyeworks Film & TV Drama, in co-production with VRT, RTBF, Proximus, and Beside, with the support of the tax shelter measure of the Belgian Federal Government, in collaboration with Scio Productions. Additionally, the economic fund Screen Flanders, an initiative under the authority of the Flemish Ministers of Economy and Culture, invested in the production.
